Exploring Cricut - Cricut 1,2,3 Challenge

Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

For this week's Challenge, we had to use 1-piece of ribbon, 2-cricut cuts, and 3-brads, buttons, or other embellishments.

Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

My card base is a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Stampin' Up! Pear Pizzazz folded in half.  The layer is a piece of SU Twitterpated Designer Series Paper.  The round base for flowers was cut using the Cricut Paper Trimmings cartridge using SU Island Indigo, SU Baja Breeze, and SU Whisper White for the circle.

I added a piece of SU Ridinghood Red ribbon.

I used the Cricut Flower Shoppe cartridge to cut out the flowers and leaves.  The flowers were cut out in slightly increasing sizes and layered using SU Ridinghood Red and SU Blushing Bride cardstock.
I used SU Pear Pizzazz to cut different sized leaves.  Pink and red brads hold the flowers together!  Of course I used several different adhesives and SU dimensionals.  The senitment is from SU Teeny Tiny Messages.  I used the SU Word Window punch.

Everyday Enchantment

Uploaded from the Photobucket iPhone App

Hey ya'll! Here's a card I made for my project over at Sheila's awesome blog, She's a Sassy Lady, using the new Everyday Enchantment designer series paper from the upcoming Sale-a-bration catalog! The card is a regular A2 size.  I used SU Pool Party, Peach Parfait, Lucky Limeade, and Very Vanilla cardstock.  The flower stamp and the punch I used to to cut it out is from the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini catalog.  The stamp set is: Mixed Bunch and the punch is: Blossom.  I used SU Poppy Parade classic ink for the flower and popped it up with Stampin' dimensionals.  The ribbon is some I had in my stash, from Hobby Lobby, I think.
No cricut, but I hope you like my card anyway.  I made this with my small group of ladies who meet every month.  I'm posting their cards as well!

My Exploring Cricut Design Project

Uploaded from the Photobucket Android App

For this card, I used Cricut Snow Friends and Cricut PDDU cartridges.
For the embossing I used a cuttlebug folder w/snowflakes.  The cute little face is a Peachy Keen stamp.  The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper.
Sorry I'm not giving as much detail as usual, but time ran away from me and work has gotten a little busier.
Hope you like it anyway.  Don't forget to go to Exploring Cricut to link up you project for this week's challenge.  Until next time...

Exploring Cricut Happy Birthday Challenge

Uploaded from the Photobucket Android App

For our Challenge @ Exploring Cricut, we had to create a Birthday themed project using the colors Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and White ONLY.

Uploaded from the Photobucket Android App

Using my Gypsy, I chose the banner from Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge and a smaller layer out of the red, blue, green and yellow papers included in the SU Primary Simply Scrappin' kit.  Used ATG tape gun to glue layers together.

Uploaded from the Photobucket Android App

I made paper rosettes out of Stampin' Up! 12 x 12 Whisper White cardstock.  I cut the scallops using Cricut Mini Monograms using the same colored cardstock.  I also cut the circles with MM using one of the designer sheets of cardstock included in the kit.

Using the same cardstock colors and Cricut Plantain Schoolbook, I cut out my letters and letter shadows.

Uploaded from the Photobucket Android App

I used zip dry pen to add the letters to the rosettes. Then I used my craft knife and cut slits in the banners so that I could run my ribbon through before hot gluing my rosettes onto the banners.

Now I have a Generic Birthday Banner ready for a Party!!!
Hope you like it.  Now you get to crafting and don't forget to go to Exploring Cricut and link up your entry!  Until next time...

Exploring Cricut Daily Design 6

For today's project I made a quick card using Cricut Create a Critter cartridge.

Uploaded from the Photobucket Android App

The lady bug and dragonfly were both cut at 3.25 inches.  I used  a cuttlebug folder to emboss the blue layer.  The sentiment is from a MPS stamp set.  The faces are Peachy Keen!  Finished it off with a piece of ribbon from SU.

Hope you like it!  Now be sure to go to Exploring Cricut and link you entry for this week's challenge!  Until next time...

Exploring Cricut Winter Scene Challenge

Uploaded from the Photobucket Android App

For my challenge project, I made this scrapbook layout for a picture of my two youngest when it snowed last year.

Uploaded from the Photobucket Android App

I started with a 12 x 12 piece of Stampin' Up! Bashful Blue textured cardstock for my base page.  I then cut the snow out of SU Whisper White cardstock.  I used my Gypsy to cut the snow.  I used the Cricut Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge for this.  I used my Gypsy to merge two cut together and "hide" some of the parts I didn't want to cut.  I then used a sponge and inked some areas to give it dimension using SU Bordering Blue basic ink pad. I used pop dots to add the snow to the base page.

My little girl is cut at 3.75 inches using the Cricut Winter Frolic Cartridge.  I used SU Regal Rose, Rose Red, Creamy Caramel, Basic Black, and Blushing Bride cardstock.  Her face is a stamp from "Peachy Keen Stamps," Princess Faces.

Uploaded from the Photobucket Android App

My little guy is cut at 5.25 inches using the same cartridge.  I used SU Basic Black, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Night of Navy, Whisper White and Blushing Bride.  The brown was from my scraps and I'm not sure of the maker.  The face is also "Peachy Keen's" Groom Faces.

The title is from Cricut Winter Wonderland and is cut out of SU Night of Navy, Old Olive,  Regal Rose and Bashful Blue cardstock.  The frame is also from the same cartridge.  I used my Gypsy to manipulate the dimensions by using the toggle icon.  I used SU Regal Rose and Old Olive cardstock. I added the title using Stampin' dimensionals.  All other images were added using my ATG with acid free tape.

Page complete, ready to add my picture.  Hope you like it.  Now it's your turn to create your own project and post it to the Exploring Cricut challenge blog!  Until next time...
