Baby Shower Card

Today's project is a baby shower card for my niece.  I was watching some of the video from Cricut Ultimate Creative Series Sampler and fell in love with the Baby Shower card Ginger made.  I decided to make my own version of the card.

I used Stampin' Up! cardstock and for the printed papers, I found the Nursery Nest Designers Series Paper Pack from Stampin' Up! (I have way too many crafting supplies.  Going through my stash is so much fun.  I find things I forgot I had and get excited all over again!)  The Circles, Baby title, Label, and Bottle are all Cricut cuts that can be found in the Ultimate Creative Series Cartridges.  Not to worry if you missed out on that awesome deal, the cuts are just samples from original Cricut cartridges.  The baby title and circles are from Plantin Schoolbook.  The snazzy label is from Home Accents. And the cute bottle is from Doodlecharms.
Random buttons, lots of inking, and a whole lot of fun! Hope you like my spin on this adorable, easy card.  See you next time!

Exploring Cricut Daily Design

Hey crafty friends, here's a card I made using the Cricut Baby Steps cartridge.

I used my Gypsy to put all the layers on the mat and manipulate them the way I wanted.

I used an 5 1/2 " x 11" piece of Stampin' Up! Certainly Celery cardstock, folded in half, and a 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" piece of SU Chocolate Chip cardstock for the layer.

I added a border using SU Daffodil Delight and SU Pretty in Pink cardstock.

The patterned paper is from a K&Co. stack I've had for some time, and is bordered with SU Bashful Blue.

Here's the little cutie put together(cut at 3".)

A simple sentiment and it's done.

I also plan to enter this card in the Monday Mojo challenge!  Until next time...

Baby Shower Invitations

I made these invitations for a coworker.  She has twin nieces who are both pregnant and having their shower together!  How fun is that?!  One is having a girl and one is having a boy. Later today, I will be cutting out more blue and pink monkey for a friend who is making party favors for them.

The girls loved the invitations!!! I'm so thrilled!  Love it when someone appreciates my work.  Hehe.

Totally unrelated, but my little sister and I were pregnant at the same time....twice.  The first time, I was blessed with my son, Reid(I always wanted a little boy, but love my girls) and she had twin boys!!!

Last time, I had my little Princess Anna Claire, and she had a girl, too!  How fun, our boys and girls growing up together!

Thanks for looking and listening to my sappy memories.  Hope you like the cards!
